Look! No Cords With the Doro Wireless Headset Doro HS1910 Dect Cordless Headset

wireless doro hs1910 headset

Someday it will be a perfect world and there will be no phone cords to deal with anymore. Society got one step closer and cheaper to this ideal with the Dore Wireless Headset Doro HS1910 Dect Cordless Handset for less than £100. That’s a complex name describing a cordless phone that enables the headset wearer to walk around while talking. It’s all about mobility.

Dect is an acronym for Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone. Cordless phones have been used for a while now but this phone goes a long way towards overcoming the sound quality problems that mark earlier cordless phone. In fact, thanks to digital technology, the Doro HS1910 has crystal clear sound quality.

The headset was designed for offices where phone mobility without loss of clarity is needed. The headset wearer can roam  150 metres while wearing the Doro HS1910. It has three wearing styles too which is great for an office. Everyone has different preferences as to what type of headset configuration works best. The styles include:

  • Over the head
  • Around the ear
  • Behind the neck

The headband can be adjusted to fit the wearer’s head. In addition the earpiece can be worn on either the left or right ear. The phone gives 7 hours of talk time which is close to a full day of work. That means you only have to charge the phone once a day which is a nice feature.

Home Base

The system has a base which connects to a landline phone. The system will work with both a phone with a cord and with a cordless phone giving greater flexibility in terms of the offices that can take advantage of the Doro HS1910 eless headset.  When using a phone with a cord, the Doro handset lifter accessory is needed. The lifter is the equivalent of picking up the handset to answer a call, except it lifts the handset and then you answer the phone using the handset.

This headset can make and receive a call and so has full functionality. That is one of its greatest advantages. It has a 50 meter range in the office.

And speaking of offices…this phone works great in an office filled with lots of different noises. Background noises are eliminated making it much easier to hold a telephone conversation. To make the phone even more efficient at blocking noises, it has the capability of preventing sudden loud noises from causing ear damage (not to mention nerve stress).
