OK so you're looking for a wired or wireless headset for your new Yealink SIP-T3 series IP phones. Well, the first thing you need to know is that these T3 series phones are entry level and do not have the same headset "bells n Whistles" on each model like the T4 & T5 Series
But all models: SIP- T33G, T33P, T31G, T31P, T31, T30P, T30
do have a headset port for connection to a wired headset & are also compatible with wireless DECT headsets

Remote Answering - A word about the Yealink EHS35 headset adapter
Most people these days require (or demand even) “remote answering” via there wireless headsets so you can answer a call via the headset when you are away from your desk and…….
the only way you can do that is for a DECT wireless is through EHS or an “electronic hook switch” This is an additional adapter (& additional cost if required)
There are 3 Yealink branded EHS adapters
Yealink EHS40
& Yealink EHS36
Depending on your SIP T3 series model the Yealink EHS35 adapter will be required to achieve remote answering. It basically connects between the phone and your wireless headsets base/charging station.
Common FAQ on Yealink compatible Wireless Headsets
Q1. Do I need an ehs adapter if I don’t need remote answering?
A. No if you are just mainly sat at your desk and you are happy to just press a button on the phone then just buy the wireless headset.
(save yourself or the business some money)
P.S. Once you have connected the call via the phone, you can leave the desk up to the maximum range of the headset!
Q2. Can I get a Bluetooth headset for my Yealink T3 series SIP phone
A. it's worth noting that's although Bluetooth is mentioned on certain models Yealink do not recommend actual Bluetooth headsets only DECT wireless
Q3. Why is DECT and not Bluetooth the recommended choice?
A. Simply because DECT is more stable, more secure and has a much better range than Bluetooth plus the: SIP- T33G, T33P, T31G, T31P, T31, T30P, T30 models are basic phones and Yealink want you to move up to T4 & T5 series with better connectivity (but still not all of them)
Q4. Will these phones connect to a standard wired headset?
A. Yes absolutely, all T3 models have RJ9 headset ports (just plug n play)

Like I said previously, all models have a RJ9 dedicated headset port on the reverse of your SIP phone, so its basically plug n play!
